2nd running for 2023!
We scoped out some of the amazing roads in the Saluda, SC area and they were too awesome not to have an event here. Featuring a downtown Saluda start and finish, you will ride on some of the most fun gravel roads we have found. -
Event 2 of 6 in the Southeast Gravel Series
It's still only April 1st, but it's not too early to get a jump on accumulating those omnium points. Maybe the tougher courses suit you and you'll have a chance to claim those valuable omnium points with the longer distance of Saluda -
Longest Courses Yet!
You've been training all year and it's time to push yourself. We have a 100 and 50 mile option on tap. Don't let the lack of elevation fool you, there are some very difficult stretches of gravel mixed in here. -
Downtown Start and Finish Venue
Saluda is a small town in South Carolina, and it's very easy to get from the middle of town to some great low traffic gravel roads. Finish your long gravel ride in town and bring spectators with you to celebrate your finish in a party atmosphere. -
Free Food, Free Beer!
Go as hard as you want, and know that a hot meal and a cold refreshing beer will be awaiting you at the finish line. Stick around and cheer on fellow riders who are finishing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a race?
Some people will race the course, some will ride to finish. You are free to go as hard as you want, but the rules of the road apply.
How many rest areas?
The long course will have two rest areas and the short course has one. They are stocked with water, drink mix, and snacks.
If I have a mechanical will you fix it?
This is a self-supported event. This means you are expected to bring tools and parts with you to fix your own mechanical and have the knowledge to fix it. If you have a mechanical that can not be fixed we do have sag support, although there may not be cell service and the support vehicle may be far away.
Is the course marked?
We try to mark the course extremely well. That being said, in every event there are people who rely only on the course markings to guide them and up up off course. It is *extremely* highly recommended to download the gps file we provide.
