  • New weekend long Event for 2024

The gravel, terrain, and lack of traffic around Hot Springs made it a no brainer to have an event there. Stay downtown in many of the cabins around town or at the Hot Springs resort. Plan on spending the weekend and bring your family to what will likely become your favorite new cycling destination! Shakeout ride and number pick up on Friday!
  • Event 2 of 6 in the Southeast Gravel Series

It's still only April 6th, but it's not too early to get a jump on accumulating those omnium points. Maybe the tougher courses suit you and you'll have a chance to claim those valuable omnium points with the mountains of Hot Springs
  • Hilliest Course Yet!

Situated on the NC/TN border, Hot Springs has one flat road along the French Broad River, everything else is climbing on some amazing scenic roads.
  • Downtown Start and Finish Venue

Hot Springs has a tiny and vibrant downtown. With restaurants and breweries, people come for the weekend or stop as they're thru hiking the Appalachain Trail. Plan on spending a weekend downtown and fall in love.
  • Free Food, Free Beer!

Go as hard as you want, and know that a hot meal and a cold refreshing beer will be awaiting you at the finish line. Stick around and cheer on fellow riders who are finishing.
  • Shake out ride and number pick up with Jeremiah Bishop!

Come and join us Friday for a shake out ride lead by multi time national champ and awesome dude Jeremiah Bishop as well as the one and only Rocket from Rocket Revolution. Shake out ride will be 13 miles and FLAT! Leaving downtown at 5pm followed by a Q&A with Jeremiah. Number pick up will be from 6-8pm from Vinyl Pies downtown Hot Springs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a race?

Some people will race the course, some will ride to finish. You are free to go as hard as you want, but the rules of the road apply.

How many rest areas?

The long course will have two rest areas and the short course has one. They are stocked with water, drink mix, and snacks.

If I have a mechanical will you fix it?

This is a self-supported event. This means you are expected to bring tools and parts with you to fix your own mechanical and have the knowledge to fix it. If you have a mechanical that can not be fixed we do have sag support, although there may not be cell service and the support vehicle may be far away.

Is the course marked?

We try to mark the course extremely well. That being said, in every event there are people who rely only on the course markings to guide them and up up off course. It is *extremely* highly recommended to download the gps file we provide.
