New event for 2025
McCormick Governor's School
We have a new venue for 2025. This course uses many of the same roads as our popular Greenwood event, but starting from the southern section. We have more space, more access to great gravel roads, and an amazing venue to spend your day.
Days until McCormick Mayhem
Event 1 of 6 in the Southeast Gravel Series
Let’s start off the year with a bang! Our first event of the year has always been our largest. So let’s have it on a venue with tons of parking, no traffic, and some singletrack to have some epic battles. We will find out quickly who was riding through the winter and who was slacking!
Singletrack!
Some love it. Some love it even more! The addition of a bit of flowy singletrack makes for an exciting and challenging course. Most singletrack is limited to the long course, but the path we created between two dead ends is not to be missed.
No Traffic
Enjoy gravel roads that traverse through some of the most remote areas of South Carolina. Focus on your riding, not battling vehicles.
Courses for Everyone
Singletrack, long gravel roads, hillier than expected terrain, and a chicken farm. It all adds up to a course that makes you earn your post event meal. Don’t underestimate the course just by looking at the total feet of elevation gain.
The Long Course is 71 Miles
The Short Course is 41 Miles
There is also a 15 Mile Fun Course
Amazing Start/Finish Venue
We are very fortunate to have the Governor's School as a venue. With ample parking, a giant field for post race festivities, and quick access to some of the best gravel roads around, this venue is sure to impress!
Aid Stations
We will have fully stocked aid stations on course for both the long and short courses. You can expect water, carb drink mix, gels, pickle juice, coke, and lot's of other fun snacks!
